Stop by... we don't keep regular hours, so you better let us know before you come.
First time customers.. when you place an order, please include the following :
Crop and variety you want. Visit our Harvest Schedule to see what varieties are currently available. If you want help choosing , you can provide a more open-ended request like ( salad greens, no arugula ) and we'll select and harvest the best looking greens we have. If we have a plentiful supply at the time we'll share our bounty with you by providing a little extra. Open-ended requests is a great way explore new tastes and enjoy the the best of what we can offer on the day you pick-up your order.
Quantity of each crop. You can be as precise or vague as you want. We measure most crops by the lb. but if you ask for ( Green Beans for 4 servings ) we can set you up with the appropriate amount.
General Instructions. Farming is not an exact science. Each day reveals good and bad surprises, and we like to share as many of our good surprises with our customers as possible. We'd also like to "get to know" our customers well enough to anticipate what items they would be thrilled to get. So don't be afraid to ask for "whatever looks delicious this week". We promise you won't be disappointed with the price or the quantity. We always share abundance when it is available.
Estimated pickup date and time. We'll pick and clean your produce the same day you plan to pick it up, in some cases you will receive produce harvested within an hour or two of pickup. No worries if you're running late, we'll refrigerate your order till you arrive. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from picking up your order LET US KNOW we'll work with you to make sure that the food you've ordered does not get wasted.
Returning customers.... you already know what to do... and we're getting to know what you like. Use our Facebook page to let others know about our produce. We value feedback good and bad.
We harvest to order. Our goal is to ALWAYS provide the freshest possible product. If you stop by without previously sending an order, we'll do our best to accommodate you.
We value food, and have high standards. Our farm is supported by nature, we NEVER use chemicals of any kind to control weeds or pests. We NEVER have raised GMO crops and avoid using hybrids optimized for industrial farming. As a result our produce has rich authentic flavor.
Our love of nature keeps us honest we haven't sought 3rd party validation of our growing practices. We encourage our customers to take the time to get to know us, our farm, and growing practices. If you like what we're doing support us by eating our produce.
Folks who eat our food are an important part of our farm and the greater "Eat Local" movement. If you have a desire to participate in any way at our farm let us know, we are eager to share the joys of farming with you.
